SHAOLIN RISING!!!!!
Beginning with the Wu-Tang & Ghost Releases back in December, the Wu-family has now had a string of rock solid CD's. In June the run continued when RZA released DIGI-SNAX. Long Past the Commercial Mega-Stars of the 90's The Clan members create works of art with the precision of expert craftsmen.
GZA/Genius Crafts his swords to razor sharp lyrics & production on his new release PRO TOOLS. Laid Back Beats and crystal clear lyrics fashion life on the streets. A life misunderstood by mainstream media, Defended by GZA's crew and their lyrical swordsmanship; after all you never see followers of 50 Cent wearing a G-Unit tatoo as the Genius reminds us. Remember this, Wu Tang is forever. G-Unit is temporary!
Great album GZA

Sword Swinging!
Gza is vintage WU on here( without out the skits). This album is remarkable! I copped it last night and listen to it in my headphones while sipping some Belgium Ale. I was able to listen to EVERY track without fast forwarding. I won't say it is Liquid Swords, but it even betters Grandmasters ( and Grandmasters was brilliant). My favorite cut is 'Alphabets'...THE BEAT AND HIS FLOW TOPPED OFF WITH A CLEVER HOOK....YES INDEED....Gza sounded like he was wearing a mask with a sword in his hand like back in the day on this one. 'Pencils' is tight as well. Makes me wonder why Gza and Masta Killa do not do more songs together. And 'Paper Plate'...sorry 50. I respect you as a business man but Gza sliced and diced you like a meal topping on this. These cuts are just to name a few. Listen, do you want to sit back and digest some dope lyrics and tight music? If so, get up and COP THIS! Hip hop ain't dead. We as heads need to continue to support efforts like this to make sure of it! 2008-08-20

GZA BACK WITH HEAT!
After a 3 year break from his album "Grandmasters", GZA comes back harder than ever with "Pro Tools". An album consisting of 16 tracks, dope from beginning to end with bangers.
Lyrically, GZA is not even close to have fallen off. His lyrics are as sharp as ever, his music has matured and if you've listened to all of his previous work you can tell. His flow is more laid back, and similar to the flow in "Grandmasters". But there is no reason to down his flow, emcees change over the years! But lyrically, GZA is on point and would rip any lame guy popular in the game right now.
The production on the album is just nuts. My favorite beats would have to be, "Pencil", "7 Pounds", "Paper Plates", "Firehouse", "Cinema", "Life Is A Movie". In this album, you got production by Mathematics, True Master, Bronze, Black Milk, Jose Reynoso, Arabian Knight, RZA, Rock Marcy, Jay Waxx Garfield. Its good to see that 4 Wu affiliated producers took part in this album cause it makes it just that much more better.
I'm glad to hear such good music like this, considering all the garbage that is plaguing mainstream Hip-Hop at this moment in time. I recommend this album to ALL Wu-Tang fans first up, and to any real heads, you'll definitely feel this album!!! Long live WU!
My Top 5 Songs
1.Pencil
2.7 Pounds
3.Paper Plates
4.Columbian Ties
5.Life Is A Movie

This was Specially Designed From the Hook to Bottom Line
Another Classic Wu-Banga!
Excellent front and back album cover by Nubian
Great production from Dreddy Kruger, True Master, Arabian Knight, the RZA, Jay Waxx Garfield, Bronze Nazareth, Choco, Mathematics, Rocky Marcy & Black Milk
GZA's sword is still imperial!
Lyric after lyric, GZA takes his listeners to school. This is MCing: 101
on the Pro Tools-He's like a combinational extreme MCee music/movie visual-lead-director who happens to be the Head when the team comes together to form like Voltron with that Blazin' Sword!
Every track gets continuous play-deciphering the wisdom of the GZA
"Alphabets"-on point
"Cinema"-Featuring Justice Kareem-is nice;very visual (uniqueness)
Love the Clan's verses on "Pencil"
"Life is A Movie"-Deep RZA production
Enjoyed the production & Ka's verses on-"Firehouse"(At first listened I mistakingly thought Ka was Solomon Childs)
"Paper Plate" -Naw man, 50 don't want none of this...
All around the world Killa Beez is still swarmin' em!
Peace to the GODZ-The saga continues...
