G unit hater bring the ratings down too much
There are some issues here we have to deal with. This album is good. It is close to a 5 star album. But For some reason there are people who really hate G unit. I don't know why. You either like their music or you don't and then you rate what the quality of the music is to you.

There are people who just because they hate them they will give them a one star rating without even going into details on why they think the CD is bad. So when I see 4 stars average rating and I look at what all the one stars have to say I realize that the album is probably good if not almost great.

Now don't get me wrong there are also the G unit die hard fans that will just give them 5 stars too but for some reason the haters will go more out of their way to give them a 1 star rating.

After I came to that conclusion I decided I wanted to buy the album. I don't usually buy albums (meaning I download) but I like their music so I said "why not, I got support them somehow.".

I listened to it for a few times. At first i thought it was okay but the more you listen to it the more you realize that this album isn't bad. Eventually I caught myself constantly listening to it because they brought that original G unit sound that has been missing for a while.

Besides "I like the way she do it" They never really attempted to go commercial. They stuck to their formula of hardcore and gritty beats and tough lyrics. While this may not be the key for commercial success it will definitely keep adding to their loyal fan base, not the radio garbage fan base who will only like them when they are on the radio.

While it's not as good as Beg for Mercy, it does bring that G unit sound loyal fans have loved in the past. Everyone was on point. Even Yayo seems to have improved, but I think the reason it is not as good as beg for mercy is simply too much Yayo and not enough Buck. Tony Yayo lyrically doesn't match the rest of the guys, and Young Buck is only on four tracks. While he has improved lately he is still not as good as when he came out in the early mixtapes. I remember hearing him on the 187 beat and he ripped it, and every once in a while he comes out with a really nice verse but he has been inconsistent ever since. For some reason he doesn't seem to put in the effort that the other guys do. LLoyd Banks is still a beast and I think he is only going to get better because he so young. His next album should be classic. And 50 is still 50. The man filthy rich. While I don't believe a man that rich will ever commit the crimes he says in his music, I mean why risk it, it's his gangster image that everybody loves. Even though he not in the street hustling, he is hustling on a whole other level and that is why he still gangster. Just face it his lyrics are no longer going to be like the ones on GRDT album because he can't relate to that anymore and if he tried it would come out as a very false image, so he has to switch it up and for better or worse he is not same rapper from power of the dollar Imagine Beg for Mercy with a lot less Buck and that is what T.O.S. sounds like. It would still be a good album but it would exclude that different sound that is needed to keep the music fresh.

So in the end they came out with an excellent album and concept but their problems from within kept this album from reaching the top. Still a hot album. Better then carter 3 in my opinion.

Very Nice
I think the album was great it included all tracks with no filler. When I feel like listening to it all I need to do is start front the first track and let it go down the line.

Just not very good
Starting to think that 50 just has no talent other than at self-promotion. No hooks, no nothing on this album which should have been titled P.O.S. instead of T.O.S.

g-unit have they lost it ?
I used tobe the biggest G-unit fan around but it seems something is lacking for them rite now maybe they will be recapture what they had now that 50,Yayo and Banks are G-unit . I think they had too many in G-unit for awhile but now the brothers are back I give them credit cause they seem tobe trying to evolve just not finding the rite mix not much to say bout this effort some ok tracks and a lot of stuff I am not feeling . Hopefully they can recapture what they had good luck GGGGGGGGGGGGGGG-unit!

GGGGGG DIDN'T DU IT
With all the weak Hip Hop music out today G-Unit latest CD T.O.S just made the rap game even weaker. Their freshman album faired alot better than their current effort. The beats were watered down and very generic. the lyric's were nowhere near G-Unit Standard. Over the past few years i must admit that i've been incredibly disappointed with the Hip Hop artists and material that's been coming out, and i honestly thought when the new G-Unit CD jump off the rap game would return to it's original art form. But to my surprise it totally missed it's mark. Now, i'm left wondering where's Hip Hop going. Will the TRUE Lyricist PLEASE stand up. in the 90's and early 2000's the rap game was flooded with true Beatsmiths like Guru (from Gangstarr) RZA, Track Masters...ect ect. Now you can't even get a descent track from nobody. It really breaks my heart b/c just by reading my review you can simply tell that i'm from the old school where there were so many Hip Hop stars like Slick Rick, Run DMC, Whodini,Salt & Pepa and the list can go on for days. to me it's like Hip Hop doesn't exist. The last song i can remember being crazy about was By you a Drank.........That was a def. club banger. Hopefully, a true star will shine and bring back that flavor we all been missing. The only song worth listening to is Rider pt.2. So what you do is download that joint and call it a day. Peace
