We need a love bomb to just blow us away!
First I am a huge fan of N*E*R*D. This cd tops their last album with flying colors. Chad and Pharrell have added so much ingenuity to this album. At first i thought the whole idea of seeing sounds was kind of questionable but when i listened to the whole cd while just kickin it in my room I actually felt like i was in another place. The album starts off with "time for some action" and it kind of kick starts the album then by "yeah you" and "spaz" you really find yourself envibed in the sounds and instruments. These superproducers are amazing and this album gives you nothing short of an hour or so of pure music enjoyment.
I recommend it to anyone who loves music and actually appreciates hard work.

Chyeah...
When I got the CD I was scared because of the mixed reviews, especially of those who've followed the group from the beginning. I wasn't thrilled about the music the first time around, but after the third time listening to the CD, I am in love.
I love the music and I love the seemingly spontaneous subjects. I stepped outside of my box and was pleasantly surprised.
Seeing Sounds got a 5/5 because my Mp3 player has been going non stop :o)

Hugo and Williams still save the most interesting beats for their solo work
Chad Hugo and Pharrell Williams aka The Neptunes aka N*E*R*D. (it's rumored that third member Shae really does all the work): geniuses or a couple of dorks who accidentally made a musical footprint as large as Timbaland? Whatever, as their hit-and-miss history over the past couple of years is mostly forgiven on this third album. After a brief skit, the album does exactly as the first title suggests: it's "Time for Some Action", the band ripping into slinky bass guitar, snare and panned whispers; apparently the duo recently discovered drum `n' bass, or simply decided now is the hour to bring it back, as evidenced on the scratched-out "Everyone Nose", the swaggering "Spaz" and Check Your Head meets E40 mix of "Anti Matter". Except for the ersatz pop rock number, "Happy", and the bored ballad "Love Bomb", fans who embrace the group for their eclectic nature will celebrate and give thanks that Hugo and Williams still save the most interesting beats for their solo work. 2008-07-15

Listen to this....
Good mix of sounds and plenty of music to go around... From the first song you play, it teases you into the next coming songs and gives you an excellent cd to listen and play at a party or home or car. 2008-07-14

How Do They Do It ?
As everyone else who's commented on this Album, I myself have followed and supported the whole StarTrak movement. I was a junior in college when I first heard the song "lapdance", it featured a female rapper named Vita, who was in a few Irv Gotti's songs. My intrest in hearing Her role in this particular song led me to listening to the group call N.E.R.D.
I had seen the name Pharrell Williams on an old NORE tape. Supa-Thug was the track that He produced for him. What! What! What! What! What! what! I don't think Nore's solo success would have been the same without that particular track from the Neptunes. That's one(1) career he made.
A little later he introduced the World to Kelis, I was amazed at her. She instantly became 'The Girl'. Her Abstract approach hyptnotized me, Her desperation attracted me, her lyrics were poetry, I'm sure Pharrell had alot to do with her artistic development and songwriting abilites. that's two(2) careers made.
About the same time Pharrell helped produce one of the more gritty rap duo(s) of the last decade. He and Chad reached way out of they're, then current, element and brought forth some of the most sinister beats ever. And the Clipse tore the tracks up. Thats three(3) careers made.
Although this next entertainer was already established prior to collaborating with Pharrell, and next to Kelis, I believe, He received probably the most guidence on being a solo artist and expressing a style. Justin Timberlake's Solo album "Justified" was fueled by Pharrell's ideas. That's gotta be a solo career made. so that's four(4) folks.
Theres a few more entertainers that He's given jewels to, Snoop Dogg has gotten more than His fair share of tracks, Jay-Z and He have worked together several times as well. Pharrell and his mates have been extra-extra busy for the past 10 yrs. They've probably made over 50 hits for OTHER artists and STILL found the time to do they're own GroundBreaking Music. These guys must be made up-of pure energy. Super-Producers.
This Latest Album is Just, like, a necessary Automatic Update that Your computer is already familiar with. It doesnt have to ask or request to gain access, you've already granted it unlimited, with no prompts needed. This music is as easy for me to digest as air is to breath. I'm totally biased on the subject of anything dealing with N.E.R.D., Neptunes, The Yessirs, or Skateboard P. I Love all versions of they're music, it's made specifically for my ears and understanding, as long as they make music I will be a fan, and that means NO Downloading of Real Artists!!!
