One of the Boys

I don't want to be harsh but this album is candy coated throwaway flash in the pan tripe. A lot of teens, particularly teen girls, love that kind of music but good luck making a career of it. The lyrics are what you would expect a 14 year old to come up with and the backing music is just stale. Maybe this kid can pull off a decent album one day but I'm not banking on it. If I were her I wouldn't start living like a rock star just yet. I'd probably wait ten years and see how it goes.

Before the advent of iTunes I was guilty of buying cds for just one song. I would end up liking just that one song and that's it. I loved the song " I kissed a girl" so I figured the other songs on this cd would be good too. All I can say is WOW! I LOVE THIS CD!! I like all the songs and you can listen to the songs multiple time without getting bored with them! All the songs are different and Perry does a good job of entertwining her real life into her lyrics. I highly reccommend this cd! It's amazing I have it playing all the time now during homework,work etc. so BUY IT NOW!

i never heard of katie perry until i heard this song i kissed a girl/right after i heard it i had to have the cd.very hot and sexy.katie perry has it all looks talent and everything.watch out britney spears

This is surprisingly good. There is something about Katy Perry's voice that draws you in. She's not a great singer, but she is interesting and engaging. There is freshness and energy in her songs. Also check out Charlotte Sometimes.

THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST CD'S I'VE HEARD IN A WHILE...IT HAS VERY GOOD SONGS AND THE LYRICS ARE GREAT!!
IT'S WORTH BUYING THE CD BECAUSE ALL THE SONGS ARE REALLY GREAT!!
