One of the Boys

I was expecting that I would only like the hit single "I Kissed a Girl" when I got this CD. Little did I know that that was one of the weakest songs of the album. I figured that "Ur So Gay" would be one of the worst songs on the album, but it's actually one of the better ones. It's really amazing that Perry was able to blend such enthusiasm and talent with styles from the sixties, eighties, and today to make an interesting album.

The best song on the album is "I'm Still Breathing", a ballad, which is so gorgeously written, even though it is a bit depressing. I think the word poetic would not be misused on this song.

The album is fun, and not to be missed! Don't just go into it expecting it to suck because you either liked or hated the first song. It's actually a lot more complex than the one song. It's an experience that you will not regret having had.

Katy Perry's "One of the boys"s is a fun album you could relate to. It's hard to tell which team she bats for; possibly both? I love this album and I look forward to more singles gettting released on video. My personal faves are "one of the boys, I kissed a girl, thinking of you, Ur so gay and Hot n Cold" The album was worth every penny!

I wasn't sure what I'd get with this album, but I did like Katy Perry's "One of the Boys." Several songs are fun and catchy. I liked it :)

This cd is awesome. First cd ive bought in a while because i download music instead. Went to her concert and she's great so i had to get the cd and i dont regret it. Its so worth it and has a great listing of songs including her hits "i kissed a girl" and newest single "hot and cold" if you dont have this cd, get it because it rocks!

2008 brought us some pretty bad albums, but "One of The Boys" probably tops that list. I really disliked the #1 single "I Kissed A Girl", and her new song "Hot N Cold" sounds like a ripoff of Alanis Morisette. I don't like any of the songs on this album. I never hated an album more. Music has seemed to go downhill lately and I hope it gets better. From Rihanna's ear torture single "Disturbia" to Chris Brown's horrible song "Forever." I seriously hope there are better albums later in 2008 because I am very dissapointed with the music scene right now. Sorry Katy but this album is horrible, one of the worst of 2008 along with Miley Cyrus.
