Adele is a young soulstress from London, England with a voice that defies her youthful years. On this, she delivers possibly the best debut album from a UK artist in 2007. Best tracks 'Chasing Pavements', 'Cold Shoulder', 'Hometown Glory' and 'To Make You Feel My Love', all make the entrance fee worthwhile. I have a feeling that this young lady will be around for quite a while. Not just a fad but a quality artist at work here.

Adele is a breath of fresh air. She has a great soulful voice, which is rare now days. She sounds even better singing live, in which I first saw her on the David Letterman show. I bought the CD and was not disappointed. Her style comes from the soulful 60's and face it not many Pop Singers now days could have lasted in the talented 60's, but Adele could have. Look out America here comes the British! My favorite songs on her CD are: Chasing Pavements (Live), Hometown Glory, and Cold Shoulder. All in all, it was a great first CD and I can't wait to hear her second CD!

Is this girl 19 years old?? If '19' is what she can do being 19 years old, I don't know what she's going to do as she gets older. Amazing vocals, songs, lyrics... really moving

I love this cd! Its one of the very few cds I own that I can listen to all the way through. I did not skip any tracks. She is very talented, yet humble.

Since I purchased this CD I have listened to it repeatedly. It gets better each time! Adele is a fresh new voice on the music scene and she is fantastic. Sometimes it seems like I'm listening to a combination of Nina Simone, Ella Fitzgerald and Adele! Chasing Pavements is one of my favorite tracks along with Hometown Glory. She is headed for stardom and it is so welcome! So many new stars in music can't really sing and she stands out because her voice is a rare blend. I saw Adele on an episode of the View and bought the CD the same day. There is a lot of talent coming out of England and this young English Miss will be a superstar!
