Excellent CD, great listen, love the mix of orcastra sounds into the music. Much of the music is protest music like from the 1960s but with a modern groove.

This is a rare kind of cd...you can listen all the way through without wanting to skip songs, every member of the band is talented, and their music carries a good message...very rare indeed.

I'm not a leftist; quite the opposite actually. I'm a TRUE conservative, not a corporate-whore neocon. A couple of people gave bad reviews because they didn't "agree" with the views of the band; that's fine, but many of the songs are about factual occurrences, especially "Same Thing" where they talk about all the democratically elected leaders we've overthrown and murdered by force. These aren't views. It's history. They're just commenting on the flagrant hypocrisy of America, nothing more. We don't spread democracy. Never have, never will. Quite the opposite. Our government supports dictators. How do you think Sadamm came to power?! How do you think al-Quaeda came to power? Maybe the $6 billion in tax dollars our government gave them. Most people are ignorant of the truth, thus they support corporate wars while waving their Chinese-made American flags and feel insulted when people expose the truth. Silly people. Don't listen to them. Listen to this album and enjoy! But yeah, if you voted for George W, don't listen to this album. Buy some Christian rock, bury your head in the sand, watch the economy meltdown, and keep supporting the biggest transfer of wealth in history...from the U.S. to the Middle East! Dumb, dumb, dumb.

This should not be considered hip hop. The cd isn't even worth your time, buy brother ali, or atmosphere if you want something worth listening to. Its garbage wish i would I could return it. I love political music but I like the kind with passion and heart these guys sound like your Christian youth group went democrat.

While stationed in Afghanistan, one of my buddies suggested this group, so I ordered their CD, and must say I was impressed. Their music and message has introduced me to a new world progressive rap/rock music. I used to like Rage Against the Machine, but they sold out their message. Their message is right on and accurate. There will be some that will disagree and consider them some liberal trash, and they are entitled to their opinions. Flobots hits nearly every song with great beats and excellent lyrics. I can't wait until their next album arrives!
