AND she can sing!
WOW...this is great stuff! I am very, very impressed that Cyndi Lauper has proven here, that a musician doesn't have to be 19 and shaking their breasts all over the place, to put out excellent dance music! 'Into the Nightlife' will surely end up a cherished anthem (well, in SOME communities -wink-wink!). "Echo", the fantastic ulra-Cyndi-ish "Grab A Hold" and "Rocking Chair" are stand-out tracks, not to mention "Lyfe." Lauper's got a feel for this brand of music and she makes you get a feel for it too! AND she can sing! I always knew that---but it is just refreshing because SO many who venture into this arena ( a one-name blonde comes to mind) can't sing a note! This CD is a joy. 2008-07-08

Bring Ya To the Dance Floor!!!!
I've been a Cyndi Lauper fan since i was a kid and i can only say I have not listened to one bad album made by this absolute and consumate true artist... this movement to EURO-DANCE suits Cyndi's very well, as always a true original, not something that copies (not to mention names, but it start with a M) BYTTB is Retro...is New....is Old....is just everything a dance album should be, well mixed, well balanced, and not to mention nicely packed. If you want to travel in to a fantastic world of true EURO-DANCE...Bring Ya To The Brink.
5 Thumbs Up Cyndi!!!!

If I liked dance music I would like it better
Being a fan of Cyndi's since I was little, I'm bound to like it, as so far there isn't an album I haven't liked. However, it is not by any means my favourite album. I don't like dance music really, but I don't mind this CD. I can listen to it, and sing along, however if it wasn't my Cyndi, I probably would have looked past it. If I liked dance I would really like it. 2008-07-07

Y A W N !!!
After enjoying the Japanese version of SHINE since cher was closing for Cyndi, i was terribly disappointed by the monotonous drone of the new cd - especially given the current crop of artists and releases: Duffy's Rockferry, Adele's 19, Toni Childs's Keep The Faith, Amy MacDonald's This Is The Life, Lily Allen's Alright Still, and Annie Lennox's Songs of Mass Destruction - to name but a few. 2008-07-07

Cyndi is Back!
Fantastic album - I am so glad she is back with new music. She is back better than ever! 2008-07-06
