This is -no doubt- the best CD Steve has released. Simply fantastic!
There's no singer like Steve Tyrell nowadays.
He's the best!

This singer is so great - but aside from having a wonderful voice for ballads, his arrangements are just superior. I love listening to the backgrounds and the great musicians he has for the recordings. He makes Bacharach songs sound better than Burt himself.

Steve Tyrell is the last of the great saloon singers..OK ..that's not a bad thing. I put Steve up there with Sinatra, Torme, Dino and all the great ones. I guess I have to cheat by saying that I caught his act at
THE CARLYLE CAFE in NYC and he performed most of these songs.
Great guy...and he's even from Houston...

I am a Steve Tyrell appreciator to the nth degree!

What can one state after stating "Perfect" on Steve's "Back To Bacharach" album.

Well, I can state that Steve loves this album very much too because he told me so! And I can tell amazon.com that he told we in his audience at Jazz Alley in Seattle this July 2008 that he checks amazon.com every hour for the status and was happy to tell us at that time it was rated #1! We all laughed joyously with him and appluaded hugely because we had been checking on the album too!

Seeing him perform is a delight beyond describing because his voice is perfectly wonderful, he is handsome, warm, kind, the nicest and is very interactive with his audience, it's like visiting with a friend who sings beautifully seemingly 'only' to you.

I am biased on behalf of Steve and all his albums he's released and my review shows it as intended, if you want specific details about his songs see Steve in concert; he'll tell you the story about each one and how and why he chose them for this album while he sings to you.

Steve Tyrell, The Songster Divine!

I am a big fan of Steve Tyrell - I have all of his cd's. This one "Back to Bacharach" is another great Tyrell cd. His voice is one of a kind and the professionalism he shows with each cd is exemplary. I am always anticipating the next cd and buy as soon as it comes out. I sure wish that he would tour more in smaller cities so I could attend one of his concerts.
