You can tell that Steve Tyrell loves this music and these songs because you can hear it in his voice all through this CD. One of his best ever!

In the Olympics of Music, Steve Tyrell can win with this record, the gold medal. I hope next record can be about Bossa Nova.

I have really enjoyed this CD and would recommend it to anyone, the story about making the Cd is very interesting and heart warming, after reading the story, each song takes on a new meaning-------GREAT!!!!!!

I have read several comments concerning Steve's limited vocal range, or raspy voice.. but he brings a rich quality to these songs, and I agree with one comment on how his voice is bittersweet, and he sings the songs, not with the orchestrated smoothness of the original, but as if he has lived each song. There is so much feeling transmitted with each song, and it brings up memories in my own life that the original versions never could do. A great CD.

Steve Tyrell is one of my all time favorite artists and competes well with the ones from the '40s, which were my favorites until now.
This CD of Burt B's music is just TOO good!!!
