Celtic Treasure

This is a lovely album, if you enjoy beautiful music, this is the album for you! Wonderful combination of inspirational, traditional, and new songs - all excellent.

If you know who Hayley Westenra is, buy this album. Hayley's continued maturing is revealed in the many nuances of her voice in this fascinating variety of songs. THEN, go over to the Amazon web site in the UK and order 'TREASURE,' an equally fine album with additional selections, which was released two weeks after Celtic Treasure. I listen to both albums whenever I want to hear the purity of Hayley Westenra's fine musical instrument-her voice.

My daughter and I have enjoyed Hayley's singing since we first saw her on a PBS special. We purchased her first CD, but we find that she has grown in singing ability with this new CD. Her selections are varied and will appeal to a general audience. We also purchased the Celtic Woman latest DVD on which Hayley appears, and we were impressed by all their performances. We are both singers, and we recognized good singing. This is really good singing!

She is the newest addition to the Celtic Woman group and this is her third solo cd. Outstanding vocals but could use newer material. Seems all the great Celtic singers are putting out the same songs. Hayley's stands out over many!

As usual Hayley sings great. One of the reasons I bought this item I wanted to hear her sing the true Irish & Scots ballads from the ole soil. I did't hear much of that.
