David Cook

It's a great debut CD and an anticipated one at that. I really like that David was able to keep his style of music and tone and it sounds very nice in studio. It's so good that some of the songs give me chills and I can't listen to them outside because it's already cold, and I'll get frost bite :P okay, that was corny but seriously, he's amazing and you should def. pick up a copy!

I knew when I first saw him that he was destined for greatness. I loved every song he did on Idol (especially his own arrangements), so I knew I had to have this CD before he did it. I was even more suprised at how good it is. A lot more than I ever expected. He also wrote most of the songs. The lyrics are so beautiful, he truly is a "Word Nerd". A must have CD. Something for everyone.

I don't buy too many cds these days because I find myself only listening to one track or two. I pre-ordered David Cook's album because I loved his performances on AI and was hoping for a solid album. I am not disappointed in the least. I can listen to all the tracks without finding the need to hit the "Next" button. My favorites are Avalanche, Declaration and Permanent. I really enjoy the sound of his voice and there's enough variety in the album to keep it interesting throughout.

This long awaited CD was well worth waiting for. No disappointment with any part of this CD.

Enjoying it so the MAX. I can't believe that it took America Idol to discover him. I could listen to him all day.

I think this album is just great. Good lyrics, good sound, and good voice. It is just the way I would want David Cook's first album to sound like. Light On is written well by Chris Cornell. Lie is one of the best songs. I think it is so cool that he help write so many of the songs because that is not always the case with today's artists. Every song is great to my ears. I can not wait for more to come from Mr. Cook.
