Incredible CD
This CD will be bless you. If you like any other CD from Salvador, this is another powerful CD from them.

Great music, great message
I had only heard a couple tunes of Savador on the radio, which I liked, before buying this album (based, in part, on some favorable reviews I read here). To say I was pleasantly surprised would be an understatement - this group is powerful (reminds me of Tower of Power) with terrific horn riffs and rhythm section togertherness and drive. There is an expected latin feel to many of the songs, but the overall vibe is universal. All the songs have lyrics with a Christian message (and give the impression that these people have no shame about putting it out there that Jesus is why they sing - some "Christian" artists kind of make you guess at their inspiration - not this group! Amen!!). Tracks 1,3,7,8 and 9 are my favorites and present a diversity of styles that make this album so worthwhile. This album has left me anxious to buy more of their stuff. A great addition to your collection, whether you are into Christian music, or not.

Energetic
This album has lots of "south of the border" rhythm in it. The instrumentals in it are very lively with a great message.

Shine
It's all about Shine ...the rest of the songs grow on you and before you know it you're singing the whole ablum track for track in the shower...

Powerful Music Sung Unto the King
This album has to be one of the best I have heard as of late. Do not be fooled: this is NOT a boring, lackluster Christian album that is the same as all others.

Of all the things that make an album truly special, it is the lyrics. These stand out immensely, soaring above most artist as truly being both of sound doctrine and of reflecting people who seek the Lord with all that is within them. Truly a breathe of fresh air in the sea of goofy and biblically inaccurate albums out there that could as easily be about a boyfriend/girlfriend/spouse as God. (Or worse yet, the albums that are as man-centered as secular music).

The music is also a way in which this stands out. Reminiscent of Nestor Torres and Santana, you can't go wrong with their sound here: very much more of smooth jazz than the typical rock of most Christian artists (possible reason for dislike by others?). Catchy from the start, you can't help but wish to get up and dance to some of these tracks: You are So Wonderful, Te Enaltezco Dios to name a couple.

Overall, with such powerful songs as Waterfall,Trying to Be the Sun, Shine (which is the least among all of these greats), and Now That I Have You, this is album that every lover of God honoring music should own. I'd give it 6 stars if I could!
