Delta Sleep System

So if your spouse doesn't want to hear it...I have to sit in another room to listen-then go to bed-love to be able to put it on my mp3.plus my first one wore out fast- in only a few playings- love the effect it has!! Whatz up with inability to download it?

I ususally dont believe what I read and have to find out for myself but this CD really helped me. I was having nightime anxiety attacks and was unable to go to sleep. I found instant relief from the CD's mellow music. I didnt find any disturbing or loud parts like some of the people claim as disruptive. I used my earphones and had a nice low volume. I would reccommend this CD :)

If you're the type of person, who will dwell on something to the point of sleeplessness, Delta Sleep may help you by distracting your brain. I find it helpful when played at a very low level.

I put it on last night. I was already feeling very tired but thought I may as well use it anyway. The droning music was quite soothing and after 10 minutes I was in a semi-sleep state, which is very quick for me... then POW, the musician stabs at his keyboard with some synth cords and the droning background volume increases suddenly which actually STARTLES me back to full consciousness.

I thought "that was strange" but I commit to using it all night. I turn it down a little and try again. The same thing keeps happening. I try the other track but it does the same thing. The droning is good but every 10 minutes or so there is a sudden change or sudden introduction of a new sound.

I didn't sleep at all last night, now I'm sitting at work wondering how I'm going to stay awake. I'm thinking I should have brought this damn CD with me to work to keep me awake.

I'm starting to think this company has used the age old marketing technique of creating a bad product on purpose so that you will have to buy their other products. Advertisements for their other sleep CDs are all over the inside cover.

I have purchased two CDs from the Dr Jeffrey Thompson series and both have been successful in lulling me into
a late afternoon nap for almost the duration of their 30 minute tracks. There are two 30 minute tracks on most of his CDs.

It is difficult to know what real effect these recordings have on our brain waves but if nothing else they provide some non-distracting white noise. For some of us that is all we need to steer us away from our relentless thinking and send us into a needed state of slumber. On the other hand the Delta Sleep System has never put me to sleep for more than a 25 minute nap. But it is better than nothing.
