Excellent, enjoyable album
I gave this to my brother for Christmas and we all listened to it together on Christmas Day. Everyone loved it -- all the best CCR hits, plus others we didn't remember as well, but still enjoyed hearing. Every bit as good as I hoped!

CCR's Hits
If you want just about all of Creedence's greatest hits this is the album to get. Yes that's what it was called before cds or mp3. Thing is you could never have fit all these great old songs on one album. You can't go wrong with this one if want to experiance a big piece of sixties early seventies musical happening.

A chronicle of greatness
John Fogerty and his quartet performed a slew of classic rock hits back in the 70s, most of which are collected on this terrific anthology. Fogarty's distinctive voice and the band's direct, hard rocking sound combine to produce instantly memorable songs that have withstood the test of time. I owned this one on vinyl when I was a kid, and I'm happy to have these great songs in my collection once again with the purchase of the CD.

Just thinking about the cd puts a smile on my face
I first heard CCR as a kid when my parents played their tapes. Like most kids I rebelled against my parents music and thought of CCR as old folks music. It was not until I went to college and some friends went on a canoe trip and someone played the cd that I fell in love with the music of CCR. Every song on this album has a road trip vibe and it is an easy album to sing along to.

If you are taking a road trip or going on an outdoor adventure, play this cd it will set the mood.

Too cool.
Creedence Clearwater Revival is definitely one of the coolest bands of all-time. Frontman John Fogerty is one hell of a singer/songwriter. How can you not love classics like Down on the Corner, Fortunate Son, Proud Mary, Bad Moon Rising, Susie Q, and many more. This is how southern rock is supposed to be done, I highly recommend it! Good job fellas.
