While looking for a Speical son for a Special son - I was delighted to find this beautiful, moving tribute to our lives together. Thank you.

I ended up not even using this song for my son's wedding. It was very sappy and didn't impress me.

3 weeks ago my son asked me to find a song for the Mother/Groom dance for their upcoming wedding. I googled mother/son dance songs and a bunch of different songs popped up. I needed the words to be right and say what I am feeling as he is getting married. I knew when I read the lyrics this was it!!Short, sweet, simple and very sincere. The country version,to me, is the best. I have two other sons and this will be the song for them too. My son's wedding was two days ago, and my husband had been tear-free at the wedding until this song/dance. Aunts, cousins, friends kept asking where did I find this song!! It was perfect.

Wow! This song is by far the worst wedding song I have ever heard. It is so sappy it makes me cringe. I'm not saying she has a bad voice, or the lyrics are bad...but it sounds like some kids CD from the 80's. My fiance loves Slipknot. I think he would rather dance to Pulse of the Maggots than this crud.
